Yep, the wind made for a restless night. Hopefully we'll get a break from it soon.

About last night

Yay, we heard from Rec - glad to hear e's ok.

Things are fine this side folks, thanks - took an extended public holiday and then not too sociable last night.

You'll have to put up with my mumblings for a few more days before I go home for Xmas when I won't be able to check in.

Yep first time in 20 years in this job I've had Christmas off.
Usually it suits me 'cos Christmas was always too manic for me & then maybe the drink was curtailed if I had work to go to.
So really subconsciously I didn't want to drink.....
Going for 1st sober Christmas in like - FOREVER this year :thumbs:
and really looking forward to the time off :yay:

Let's hope so.
I have one niggling worry that my son may be showing signs of a booze problem .
His sister is convinced having spent 3 weeks with him in Oz last month and doesn't think we should let him go back.
I will have to keep a beady eye on him -no better woman to spot the signs eh?
