i found the site today and spent a LONG time in the chat. I got to talk to many, many interesting and inspiring (and hilariously funny) people who made me feel welcome, did not judge me and did not make me feel small, weak or a failure. i know some of you said that i "dont drink that much" but you all recognize that if i think i have a problem, i still need the support. you didnt trivialize it and you made me feel part of the group instantly. you have all inspired me to want to be part of this "family" of people sharing your experiences and supporting each other, and succeeding in your individual goals. i downloaded the book, which i am now reading and wanted to say thank you to all of you today (you all know who you are) and I will really try (!!!) to make it to the W in NYC the weekend you are all there. just wave from a distance since i will be there with my family and i'm not ready to share this with them yet!
