    Tobacco/Smoke-Free Roll Call

You are doing AWESOME Skull!!! Keep up your good work.

I threw everything away last night at 9:30pm. Here we go again. I don't have any huge plans for this quit, all I know is I won't smoke today.
:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:

Nice, K9, keep it up! It does get easier.

Day 50 cig-free. I've been in a real funk lately... depressed, tired, unmotivated... but any day that I don't drink (or smoke for that matter) I still consider a win.

                    Tobacco/Smoke-Free Roll Call

I was sitting outside last night (yes smoking) and thinking "Is this really worth giving up my life for?"...of course we know the answer to that. Yet.....

                    Ugh...damn nicotine!!!

I should tell myself to go 83 days just to prove a point...I'm competitive even with myself. LOL

Keep up your great work Skull!!!

I know what you mean. I took it a bit further and everytime I smoked, I'd picture myself with an oxygen tank fighting to breathe, as my grandmother did. Being short of breath is such a fundamentally terrifying feeling so I'd picture myself that way and I think it filled me with enough anxiety to motivate me to quit again...

                            Tobacco/Smoke-Free Roll Call

Hi K9 and SBL - I hope it's ok that I keep popping into this thread. It's only because I totally understand and am rooting for both of you. I still have to fight cravings even now and it's been exactly 161 days, 7 minutes and 56 seconds. How do I know that? Because I downloaded an app the day I quit that keeps track for me. I haven't checked in in over 2 months, but decided to take a peek just now. Here's what it tells me: I have saved $1,132.55 (hmmm...don't know where that money went), haven't smoked 3,226.63 cigs in that time, and have saved 13 days, 10 minutes and 39 seconds of time. Wow! I know this sounds dumb, but seeing it in writing has really helped. When I got weak at the beginning, I would check this app and it really helped keep me strong - especially the money part. Best wishes and blessings to both of you. (App is called cessation nation)
Everything is going to be amazing
