Both are equally hard. I usually quit both together. Currently Cold Turkey from 10+ cans/day @ 2 days and same for smoking @ 1 day. I always have valium on hand for problems with beer but usually only 1st night if any. From past experience, the only way I have been able to do this is with vitamin B mega dose 2 tablets a day and good eating. Has helped alot. I also never have caffeine/coffee while quitting as it makes you nervey and I drink plenty of water.
Have phenibut I'm trying in a few days as it made me feel excellent but that was last week after quitting and didn't give myself those 5 days to get rid of any withdrawal symtoms from beer/cigs
