      :hallo: Army

I had no option but to go and do the weekly shop this afternoon. Didn't realise the cupboards were that bare. All stocked up now, though. Loving all the summer fruit that is now available. Strawberries, pineapple, apricots, nectarines, peaches, grapes, bananas, sweet melon, mangos.

Having a braai tonight, so I'd better get started with prep. Speaking of braais: we're having our usual New Year's Eve party. I saw whole sirloins for sale at a good price. Might pull a party trick and braai one of those. I had my eye on a 5kg slab with good marbling. Should be plenty: we'll be about 14 people, excluding kids.
      I'll do whatever it takes

Much better, thanks, Sweetiepeapie - I keep on thinking we have a new recruit in the barracks when I see your Christmassy avatart!

JC, could I have a coffee, pretty please. Or no, maybe not - going to have a very early book-in-bed night. As in now.

Might check in before lights out, otherwise, sweet dreams and :l:l:l all!
14 October 2013 was the first day of the best days of my life!

Not bad, not bad at all.

Mr JC got the last of the shopping done, then went into work. I watched an ancient auld episode of Columbus, surprisingly it had Johnny Cash in it.

Got all the pressies organised into whose is what for whom............or is it whom is what for who

And me house is all tidy.

Oooooooooooooooooh, coooooooooooooooooooooookies and coooooooffee - thanks so very much!

:wavin: Molly - you know I always say good night and then peep to see what's happening - curiouser than a cat, me! Time to teach young Joey how to use a vacuum and change a bed.

                              Laters, most probably!
