    Army Thread Tuesday 24th December

    Thats really rough JC.
I am head now, need to pop over to mums with some of my veg and then stick my head in the shop, unless there are panic buyers afoot, that is.
Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

Has any one seen the sellotape

Mr JC's finished and on his way home.

SIL been round...........love her to bits, had a nice bit of gossip mainly about the luvverly Jenz new BF.

I can lend you a Dyson, Molls, but one of the wheels keeps dropping off. There's a technique to use it that thankfully Mr JC's got the hang off and I'm just playing ignorant.

Just sneaked down to my room. Having a very traditional Norweigian Christmas celebrated today. All day eating but main meal at 6 followed by pressies. Seems very strange not having to do a thing . Only got a few mins so just had a quick read back.

Love and hugs to you all:l

And there were more - slightly less dysfunctional, but dysfunctional all the same.
This year won't be dysfunctional --- sure, things will go wrong -- that's the nature of the beast that is family Christmas time --- but it won't be because of me --- and that's a super super feeling --- I have a glow inside me that NO alcohol could ever ever replace --- end of mushiness, just wanted to share that xx
Brilliant. Off to rejoin the Vikings :new:

                Army Thread Tuesday 24th December

                Afternoon!

I love Scandinavian Christmases whizzy. My mother's Danish, so we always used to have a traditional Danish Christmas every year with Christmas dinner in the evening of Christmas Eve followed by presents around a beautifully decorated candlelit Norwegian spruce. Then one Christmas Eve (it's ten years ago to the day) my father died from meningitis and since then we have mostly had English Christmases. My feelings towards my father are rather mixed, so I tend to be a bit confused on Christmas Eve and not quite sure how to feel.

Anyways...I was only dropping in to wish you all a very happy, peaceful and embuggerance-free Christmas and New Year whatever your plans are. :l I'll be taking Amy and Poppy up to my mum's tomorrow and we'll stay until Thursday evening or possibly Friday.

Now...must make one last dash to the shops. I've managed to run out of milk FFS! :upset:

Not much happening here, I'm afraid. Quiet evening (except for the fecking wind).

That kitty looks just like our eldest ginger did as a kitten.

He's 14 now, and an absolute pleasure to have around, despite his swipes at Jasmine.
