Right on. Aiming to have 2014 be another af year. Still taking it ODAAT. Worked tonight. I craved to have a few beers and reminded myself that I quit and urge went away. ODAAT works for me still even at 2 years af.I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.
Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.
Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.Comment

2013 was a much more AF year that 2012, as was 2012 compared to 2011 etc - so 2014 could really be the winning year!

Hi, Nelz and all--
I am looking forward to a completely sober 2014 - actually looking forward to it. That is a novelty to me, and that "attitude of gratitude" (as G-man puts it) is what I am learning here on MWO. I am also learning the idea that sobriety isn't just being free from alcohol, but an active pursuit of a great life - I think DriftyAlison put it well.
Anyway - I aim to earn a Nelz star someday... Happy almost New Year, all.Comment
