Huge congratulations molly and thank you so much for sharing your many wonderful insights into alcoholism with us over the past two years and longer, I have learnt so much from you and never doubted for one moment that you would make it to two years. Wishing you many more AF years to come. :l

This IS My Way Out --- I played with it for a long time -- thinking I could take shortcuts and half measures -- eventually the penny dropped - that My Way Out means to me More rather than Less -- MWO wasn't enough on it's own for me --- it wasn't enough to keep me sober --- so I took further measures --- rehab - AA - and the combination worked for me so far ---
And for anyone struggling as I did for a very long time --- a question I asked myself so many times 'is this worth it? Can I live happily sober?' A resounding YES ---- it has changed my life incalculably --- I now see the feisty confident girl that I was when I was in my 20's -- she got buried in a bottle for a very long time --- but these days when I look in the mirror -- NOT at my looks, but into my eyes, into my soul --- I truly like what I see --- and that's enough for me
Thanks all of you again --- xxxxxx
I think this should be essential reading for any newbies, and those who are lost and trying again. Inspiring Molly.
I used the Sinclair Method to beat my alcoholic drinking.

Drank within safe limits for almost 2 years

Well done Molly on 2 years af!
I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.
