Me's fine, thanks:l. I was just so upset about the invasion of privacy, and thoughts of in the garden today, inside the house tomorrow.

Anon-a-whizz, I know that I would not be able to cope with a family invasion - a couple of days are fine, but longer than that - not! Hope the move is soon.

For you, Molly - garlicky cake!!!!

          Evening all :hiya:

Down home atm, no tensions as baby bro out to see friends and Dad has just gone off on a first date- God love him- he's like a teenager! Do hope it goes well for him as I think he deserves a good companion and really needs a woman to keep him right!

Shrek has just come on so may lay up on the sofa in front of the fire and enjoy the peace. Watched last hour of Mary Poppins with me Dad- that film is still amazing after so many years

MrsA- glad ye got MRI ok:l- had to have one some years ago now and do remember it being very noisy- was like lying on the road beside workmen using a kango-hammer.

Dreamy - can understand you being upset re someone being in yer garden and stealing:l Do ye have neighbours close by or are ye isolated? The thought of anyone being in my garden and about house would freak me right out.

Hey Satz, MissMolly and Jackie - how ye three doin?:waving:

Well thought that was just me Dad's 'puter. For some reason it don't let me use quotes either

Count me in for a meet-up ladies Not sure about a 5K run tho!

In answer to yer question Molls, I have not met this woman, to my knowledge, although she lives not too far away. I had to do a bit of 'growing-up' over the years since me Mum passed. Dad was only 51 then- still a young man. He was a good and supportive husband to Mum through her illness and whatnot, and she would have wanted him to meet someone else (said so herself) probably knowing how lost he'd be without a woman to guide him, so that's why I'd be happy for him to meet someone nice. I wouldn't worry so much about him if knew another was lookin out for him if ye know what I mean?

Unlike pongy Charlie, I've just had a lovely bath, candles and all.

A dad on a date and an Army do in Dublin - what next?

Did he tell you anything about her, Sweetie?

JC, garlic in honey is absolutely delicious! That cake does look good, have to say. Make it and let us know.
