Happy New Year to all of you! I am late to the party as usual, as it is only a little after 5 pm in Philly. Got through the holidays with all that booze still in the house. Was tempted for about 10 seconds, but it passed. Off to a party at some friends. I am obviously not drinking and we will bringing the 14 and 6 year olds. The 14 year old will stay over, and we will leave most likely around 10. I like to be snug in my jammies by midnight! I really am not a huge fan of New Years Eve. Even as a kid. In my teens and 20s it was always a blur...and never turned out like it did in the movies. I prefer a night home just relaxing. Anyway, I wish all of you love, sobriety, friendship and peace in the coming year. Thank you for all the years of support and friendship you have given me. I look forward to a healthy, sober and awesome 2014!

We have a few stragglers left after a lekker evening. Just popping in to wish all of you well before I'm off to do my domestic duty and help Mrs. T to clear up. My 5kg whole sirloin turned out well, so I can go to bed contented.
