Full sun position Rags, so all suggestions welcome.
      Wouldn't fruit/pproductive plant be fun?
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

why oh why cant i learn patience quickly

ran/walked 4.8km this morning at 01:15:00 took me 40 min, which gives me lots of room for improvement.
When you learn the secret of patience, would you please tell me.

You would have been bathed in beautiful moonlight while doing your run.

Mr Rags and I had our hair done in Sinney yesty. Our hairdresser is retiring in June. He has a house in Thailand. Lucky guy.
I will have to find a new hairdresser..... we worked out that he's been doing my hair for 35 years!
Then Mr Rags took me o Caf? Sinney for lunch.... stunning view of the bridge and opera house.
Except some stupid bastard has gone and built a railway station right in the middle of the most stunning view of Circular Quay.
A big cruise ship was in. Wonder if I'd be bored tearless if I went on a cruise one day.
Next time we go to Sinney we're going to pack a thermos, sammiches and rug and have lunch near that beautiful gum tree that's in the botanical gardens at the end of the opera house forecourt.

Aspy, I used to regularly run 1/2 marathons, and even did the odd marathon, but these days running defeats me.

I can walk at 9.5 mins per km and if I can get it down to 9mins per km this summer I'll be happy! I haven't completely run the run leg of a try for about 5 years, but I still enjoy doing them, even when I'm right at the back of the pack.

I know what you mean about the realization that triathlons aren't as easy as they seem. The individual bits of them aren't too hard - but stick them together and it becomes a new ball game!! Sounds like you have the bike leg sorted though! Oh, and don't forget to practice the transitions, which is where a lot of people lose time :-)

The biggest thing, matey boy, is that you are in there and doing it. Time doesn't matter. The fact that you have taken your life and shaken it up is such an awesome achievement is what you should focus on. You are the best role model for your kids, and you should feel very proud of that achievement :h

And I wouldn't have done the biathlon this week if it hadn't been for your inspiring example. I survived (just!!!) and now want to do it again next week and try to take a minute of my time (and maybe be third to last instead of second to last :H:H)
Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

I'm thinking that not only is Asp an Undies poster boy but that there is room to be a poster boy for other young dad's wanting to give triathlons a go. Totally inspirational Aspy!

And a new experience for both of you to boot.

I had my eyebrows waxed yesterday. I look like someone who has Erroll Flynn's moustache tatoo'd on my forehead.
