Well, I see the Universe has a way of outing me! Not me, as in M E personally but ME my stomach. All this talk of fibre leads me to confess my recent troubles.
Long, long story short - I've got a dicky stomach and the rot set in before Christmas. Now at crisis point. Endo/Colonoscopy next Friday. Much medication between now and then and no messing around food wise. My Endo girl says they've now named what's wrong with my innards, and it has only two words in it I understand. Bowel and syndrome - no not irrital bowel. I'll ask her again tomorrow .... Stress is a contributor.... Who'd have thought that!!! I ended up in the acute surgery ward where I work a couple of years back with a hole in my gizzards, so trying to avoid that scenario at all costs. Sick day tomorrow and two days next week for procedures. Yuk.....
Nerry to worry though.
Had a very "emotionally charged" interaction with the hair tanker towards the end of our planning day. Huge sigh just writing that.
Interestingly the hair yanker and FFH share the same first name. Helps when writing hate mail!!! Big sigh here too.
Anyway and anyhow. Took my beautiful boy for a very long walk this afternoon. Had planned on the gym but decided he asks for little and loves his walks and after all, it is exercise for me too.
Now in Bedfordshire being restful. Nice!!!!
I get you enjoyed the rain Happsy.
Bridge - my gorgeously delicious pink gym shoes are fanbloodytastic! So light and really flexible. I don't know how I did without them.
Tawny - the other day a student came in yapping about fertility. She and her ex had eggs stored. They broke up so now they want to donate them. She prattled on about how amazing this woman called Faith was. I nodded with a swelled heart.
I'm looking forward to being asleep tonight. I was up at four because of my belly. Feel quite grand tonight though.
Sweet dreams everyone. I'm glad of all the wonderful things in my life! The list is long and I am short. How good is that?
Salute to Mr G.
I set the fences as I came in. Light charge setting only 'cos I love our dirty little stop outs!

Nicey I'm so sorry to hear about your tummy troubles sweetie. If they already know what it is, what are they looking for in the endo/colo next week? Hugs in the meantime. :l:l:lThere's two ways of looking at the holes in your shoes
You can dig the ventilation... or you can sing the blues
I didn't come this far to only come this far.

Morning everybody.
Happy Friday! Long weekend looms. I need not worry about who locks up. I'm not there! Coolio!
Glassy - they checking for "anything worrying". It will be fine.
Have a gorgie day my lovelies.
Off to the gym, then drinking a reservoir of what to have ultrasounds done. Hope I don't find anything hilariously funny. The old bladder doesn't cope like she used to.
Later maybe.

Good Morning.
Now Nicey I do hope you are enjoying the prep solution
Having one of those slow, stale, moody days for no good reason today. Never mind, it'll pass.
What an amazing thing about the Faith story. If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Just scans and ultrasounds today, so only drinking buckets of fluids I MUST retain. Wish me luck. Next Thursday is the day you MUST feel enormous sympathy - I'll be prepping for the top and tail prober!
I just hand scrubbed my wheelie bin..... Is this normal??
Has anyone noticed tele peeps are using the phrase "who'd have thunk that?" It does my head in. I feel like I've been assaulted every time I hear it.
Later praps. It is not what we do, but how much love we put into the doing.

I have some friends coming tomorrow and staying overnight, so I'm doing the cheese pastries for them. I'll do it at 200 and stand guard at the oven door.
Also doing home made falafel.. still haven't quite got the knack of it yet.... needs more spices and salt and pepper.
Sat evening will be round the BBQ at the pink kitchen courtyard ... doing Moroccan lamb chops on orange slices with bits of olive, and a couple of vegetarian dishes. Can't remember where I got the lamb recipe. Delicious I think. Will try to remember to take a picky of it.
