OK orf shopping for the troops.
Mr rags has been wonderful.
He has been down the back all day cleaning making up beds etc for the boys, and I've been in the house all day cleaning and making up beds for our female guests.
He's taking me to see wolf of wall street at 6:10 tonight.
That is the 5th time in 27 years he's taken me to the pictures Not that I'm counting.
That includes the slash your wrists with interminable boredom Lord of the bloody rings.

So, to celebrate Straya Day we are holding a BBQ & ping pong tournament. The MC Open, battling for the MC cup. Winner takes all because, well, there's no 2nd place in ping pong.

Not twists - triangles. Easy as. Preheat oven to hot. Defrost frozen puff pastry sheet(s) and cut into triangles - I like 16 per sheet. Top with blue cheese - a blob about half a teasp. seems to be enough. Whack em in, watch them rise and keep your eye on them. They cook quickly.

Nicey - sorry to read about your guts. I blame it all on the hair yanker. I'll be seeing Faith's husband on Sunday and tell him your story. He'll probably have a little blub, in a happy kind of way.

For Oz Day, I've got the triangles, watermelon & fetta for starters; a pile of crumbed lamb cutlets. Sister is making a giant tiramisu and a giant Crunchy Noodle Salad (yes, very Oz). Somebody else is bringing prawns and oysters. Somebody else is bringing cheeses and two other couples haven't declared their hand yet. It will be fun.

How I spent Robert Burns' Birthday. By Raggsy.

Chapter 1:
As Rabbie Burns' birthday is on the day before Australia Day, it is cause for double celebration at Raggsy's place.
First, up with the saltire...





Chapter 2:
The guests arrive.
After lunch it's exchange belated Christmas presents then ...
what the Teddies have been waiting for.
The draw to see who is going to Canada.
Uncle Pete has first go and the name out of the bag is.....

So, these Teddies will be skiing in a couple of weeks time.
