Crikey didn't get up 'til yon time and had to have a nanna. I'm at the orifice tomorrow as well.

Ach we'll play it by ear. Reckon I'd have to sell one of me kidneys for a bit of venison these days.

:hallo: again. Just watched a scary movie with the cubs. They found it incredibly funny every time I jumped in my seat and let out a little shriek of terror

Not yet. I'm willing to give it a go. Few ostrich farms in the UK...............but it's very expense.............the breeders have a devil of a time catching them

                  Haha :H

It's expensive here too, despite an EU export ban due to bird flu. Mrs. T loves it. I'm not such a big fan, though. She loves ostrich biltong too.

Tipps those exotic meats , including venison, are very rare over these parts due to the fact that we do not rear them for food locally in a big way. So top dollar is payable for them when they do appear.
Farmers here are very conservative beef, lamb, pork and chicken is our lot mostly :H

I have --- just like steak really --- when we were in Saffaland - Joey had a project (he was about 12 at the time) to eat every exotic meat available --- jaysus he found a few rare ones!!! If he was here I could ask what they were --- he appeared for about 5 mins an hour ago -- and has now disappeared again ---
Lol :H. A manly man, for sure.

Yep - the variety here is quite extensive. I won't eat crocodile again, though. We have friends who own a croc farm, and they served smoked tail at their daughter's wedding. Kinda like chicken, but with a bit of a fishy undertone. A bit on the oily side.

When I lived in Botswana, I ate quite a lot of goat - similar to lamb - but much richer. Beautiful in seswaa, which is stewing meat cooked in a potjie and then pounded to mushiness. Seswaa is almost a national dish there, an is always served at big celebrations.
14 October 2013 was the first day of the best days of my life!

We lived in what is now Limpopo when I was younger The worst for me was the beef liver prepared in huge dishes. It also had a kind of green shimmery effect on the surface. I'd rather eat mopane worms.
