We lived in what is now Limpopo when I was younger The worst for me was the beef liver prepared in huge dishes. It also had a kind of green shimmery effect on the surface. I'd rather eat mopane worms.

Most exotic (if ye can call it that!) thing Ive put in me gob was whale meat- cant remember much about it bar it was v chewy! Have an Aunt lives in Iceland (country not shop!) and it was there that I sampled whale.
What was the scary film MrT?
The movie is called Sinister.

Hallo Sweet! Not sure I'd be brave enough to try whale. Irrelevant question, probably, but I remember reading that it can be dangerous to your liver in large quantities?
I quite like liver, Tips, but mopane worms - never. Another delicacy apparently is grasshopper: quite nutritious, high fat content. I'd often see children hunting for them in the bush during the rainy season.14 October 2013 was the first day of the best days of my life!

Never heard that now- wonder why it would be? Not something folk would be eating every day anyways one would imagine.
