    What a wonderful post Glass! And thank you for your kind words- I teared up some because you're right: it's very hard for me not to be hard on me......:l

    Just dropped the girls off at the Mohan Ski School bus...Geez it's early here I am really grateful that they will be learning to ski. It's something I never learned as a child and always regretted it.

    Liz where did your boys go skiing? Are you upstate New York? Also, I got one of my cooks illustrated with the Caulifower soup recipe in it (weird timing! ) and they had us browning     the cauliflower in a bit of butter as well as cooking in seasoned water....yours sounds way more simple and just as delicious

    Dottie, I'll send Luna over to sit in your Lap...she's a big sloppy German Shepard! :h

    Allswell, that was definitely a great Checkers Come Back...my kids are gone for the day....Hmmm- What to do...what to do...?????

      Kradle the boys went to Mountain Creek in Vernon NJ. Glass we are going on a cruise in March. My son has spring break and we would always spend that week in Florida with the in laws. So this year no more house so were taking the boy on a cruise. He's more than willing to go as mom and dad are paying!

        I bought everything to make cauliflower soup this week!!
        Liz - isn't it amazing how Mom and Dad paying makes that happen??:H

              FT - So very sorry. I have some stomach bug. :upset: I went to get my hair done last night (didn't want you to see my white hair ) and barely made it home in time to be sick.
              My doggie has a haircut in the morning (10:30). If it goes quickly, I'll give you a shoutout.

                  MAE all.
                  22F and snowing yet again..3-4 inches predicted....I am really tired of this..may not get to church tomorrow.
                  Stood all day in my high heel boots at the funeral luncheon, wa working in the kitchen and cleaning up after...what was I thinking...too darn old for that...so after we cleaned up I went home and changed shoes then went shopping for some low heel shoes....bought 2 pairs...my feet still hurt...dang...

                    Dottie - welcome to my world. I can only wear flats now. . I won't tell you what the weather is here at the moment, you might cry. On the other hand, it might entice you to hop on a plane and come for a visit so maybe I should!

                      Oh Nora! Sedona and I had that last week...it was awful... Sound like the 'sick' part might be over for you which is great...now just sleep and sleep :l

                      Dottie, I Just got a call from the Summit Ski a patrol...Madison had a crash and has hurt her foot...she also wasn't wearing her helmet :no: I love the snow but...really...

                        No worries Nora, feel better.
                        Seems I got some sort of bug here also, with these temperature changes here I'm not surprised. Goes from 70 at day to 35 or so at night.
                        I'm under the covers myself.
                        FT
                        AF with a few speed bumps during 2014 & 2015 but will succeed.
                        As of 4/12/2014 I have not smoked at all and feel great.

                          Kradle I hope Madison is OK.
                          It sounds crazy given where we live, but my youngest son is a fanatic snowboarder. He's snowboarded in New Zealand, Fernie (where he spent the season working at a ski lodge), Val d'Isere, and has now just come home from Steamboat Springs. I've told him not to tell me about any of his exploits that involve his board not being in contact with the snow, so there's no longer much to tell. But he does wear his helmet thank goodness.

                            Glass we have always wanted to visit Australia...and we both have valid passports...and yes I might cry at your weather..
                            Kradle I hope Madison is OK, I can snow ski but not very good.

                              My daughter left for Granada today.......Vet School. Back to a lonely house, my other son left 2 weeks ago. Waiting for summer when at least my daughter will be back. Tony

                                Girls are home..rough day for them- this school is a bit...disorganized - they ended up on a triple diamond! :shocked: Sedona lost her oasis and missed her lesson....

                                Home now eating chicken wings. I really want to drink tonight....damn
