Happy Tuesday everyone!

Caper - No hard feelings ok? This is a place where everyone should feel welcome and free to express themselves. I will consider your feelings before I take another "cheap shot for a laugh". I guess I am just used to people that can take it. My favorite person here at work is the gay man, and you should hear the things HE says. I guess I'm just immune to it. Anyways, I apologize if I offended you or anyone else.

Mama - I am so sad about Pop. I'm sure Nana is just being efficient in his care, but he still needs his dignity. I hate aging, death, and disease!!! Here's a big hug and love for your whole family :l:h

Alls and Nicey - You guys are the best and I love you too! :h

Kradle - I'm so glad Mathieu is doing better...I can only imagine how much you miss that kid!! Just remember this will all pass. How much longer will he be gone anyway?

Nora - How's the gym (Jim) going? I took a "rest day" yesterday. I think I overdid it on the weekend because my legs were SO tired all day yesterday, plus my poor little broken foot was hurting. Anyways, I thought those were good excuses not to go. LOL

Sierra/Adina is doing so much better these days. She starts home schooling next Monday which means she meets with a teacher once a week to get her work. We set up a study area for her in my 3rd room (also known as my walk in closet). No TV, radio, iPhone or other distractions are allowed in there. AND she must keep it clean. I told her that if it remotely starts to look like her room, I am kicking her out! That's my spot and I don't want it turning into a trash dump. lol

Okie dokie...guess I'll do some work. STILL no word on the Dispatcher position. I have resigned myself to have a better attitude towards the job I have...to be thankful that I have one...and that I'm with the Union, they just got us all a 6% pay raise....so I need to think of all that next time my boss' laughing gets on my nerves! Like Mama said, lets remember the important stuff!

So what's the drama Mama? Is it Bri...or your tenants? Oh, and the 6% is like a once in a blue moon occurance that the Union has been fighting for over the past few years...I won't count on it ever happening again in my lifetime (or at least the time I'm here!)

I guess I'll go home at lunch and throw a load of laundry in....well, either that or take a nap, it's a toss up.

Hey all,back to work today so a hectic morning couldnt post,yes we all need to remember that what we have in life is soo damn important,sometimes i care TOO much and it gets me in trouble,i dwell on the bad that COULD happen and drank to "escape"jeez work was busy! and i feel chest congestion coming on,eeks i hope its just from smoking not sickness,im soooo happy to be sitting here sober giving a shit again,im way happier this way just choose to forget it at times,Caper lets just get over the comment,we like you around herebut you know how we are,shoot i cuss like a sailor on here sometimes,thats pretty offensive too,its over,love all you guysp.s Kradle i havent seen gettin in ages anywhere on the boards,wish shed come back she was fun

oh shit Kradle....you ok?
SO I come in tonight and my 21 year old says he needs to talk to me. I immediately think he's gottten someone pregnant!
No....but he has a lesbian couple...not trying to stir the pot...I am being serious here....and they want to pay him for his sprem so they can have a baby.
WTH????
My son said he respected me and wanted know what I thought. I was actaully very calm.
First...they only want to pay him $200. OK...
But - I aske my son how he would feel knowing he would have a child on this planet, and could he deal with that. He thought for a minute and said it would not bother him.
I told him thank you for asking me and he was an adult, but he needed to talk to Dad before he did anything and I wanted to read the "contract" they had drawn up.
He came to me about 15 minutes later and said he wasn't going to do it.
Thank heavens!!!

OMG Mama....yes we do live in a different world. A girl I work with is having her uncle's baby. Now I know that sounds bad, but she is a surrogate. His sperm and his wife's egg, and she carries the baby. So weird. I had to notarize all their legal documents so I knew it was coming before she even got pregnant. But back to Grant...um, my first thought is only $200??? What if one of them comes after him for child support in 1, 2 or 10 years? Plus, the kid is going to want to know who his dad is...and here you had thought he'd "only" gotten someone pregnant :H I'm glad he decided NOT to do it...I cannot stress that enough!

Bri really wants to join? Oh snap...we'd have to watch what we say, and we don't like doing that (as recently seen)! LOL :H

Indeed, definitely a different world. The only world I'm concerned about right now is what nice weather I'm going to deal with when I fly to Tampa on Thursday and get as far away from this zero degree shit as possible!
