My little grown "child" had a 9 year old son at the time...and yeah, she was a man-magnet too...that's a whole 'nother story. One time her son walked in on her playing checkers with her B.O.B. (battery operated boyfriend)...that caused some trauma. Lord I went through a lot with that woman...she was lucky to have me!! :H

Pipe had a chunk of soap in it but we couldn't get to the rest of the clog.dad would keep a bar of soap on the kitchen sink to wash his hands so I betcha he broke off little pieces and they went down the drain and made a big chunk...too far down the pipe for the snake....plumber will be there tomorrow...$$$$$$
They are finally going to be here to fix our broken pipe in the front yard...more $$$$$$
I agree with mama if one of us is playing checkers makes the whole family proud....;-))

Gosh poor kid! reminds me of when i was a kid i found some polaroids of my parents "together"to this day im traumatized,ugh im so sick,tried to nap but you know that feeling when you just cannot doze off?or you feel like maybe you did but not sure,frustrating,im gonna tell Kell not to come by later im not up for visiting and i dont want Louie to get this,took a tumeric capsule hopefully itll help,hope everybody has a good rezt of the day

I'm sure her son was traumatized by a lot of things. She was an alcoholic too (and I was still drinking back then). She had a heart of gold though and she always meant well. I guess that's why I went out of my way for her when others chose to just talk crap about her.

My garage door opener has been broken for a week, my landlord ordered the parts and he will fix it on Monday. And that's the good thing about renting, it's his problem.

OMG my boss just stomped by, but I have to remind myself that I'm lucky to have this job!!

Next Tuesday I am getting my hair "trimmed"...just the sides and back...I will be looking like Miley Cyrus soon. Gulp.

K9 - how can you be due for a trim already? I'm having my hair trimmed tomorrow and it hasn't been cut since the 1st of November. Mind you, I do look a bit like the Wild Man of Borneo, but that's not the point.

So while we're talking about traumatized kids, I have a confession. Many, many years ago my very young nephew was at my place playing hide and seek with my kids. My sister rang me after they got home to say that my sweet little neph (who I didn't realise had been in my bedroom) had apparently asked her why "Auntie Glass has a pretend penis under her bed". :blush: :blushing: :blush:

Dottie - I think it's awesome that you do that for the church. We were talking about Pop's impending services and where to have a gathering...it would be nice if Nana and Pop were involved in a church that provided a reception hall and such, but they aren't.
I went to bed early and woke up all stuffy and snotty. If I get ear crud again, I will scream. Right now running on LOTS of coffee and Allegra D.
I have noticed that when I use q-tips on my ears this seems to flare up. Sho nuff - I googled Q tips and they DO cause ear infections......dang it....I love me some q tips
ok...off to annoy someone at work...I am the boss, so I can do that!! Nanny nanny Boo Boo
