One Step at a Time - January 2014

Well - I'm still having problems. AARRGGHHH I was laughing at myself today. For somebody that didn't even have internet 10 years ago, I'm sure being a baby because I can't connect. I just checked and all it says is they have dispatched a crew to work on the problem. I JUST WANT IT FIXED. :H:H

Thanks again for your kind words and concern everyone, things are okay here. I'm at peace with it all now and it's time to remember the wonderful life he had. This will be a good week, I hope everyone has one as well.

Mama just visited the %*#%*+*^%# Thread and I'm hoping on Nelz bike and heading your way....see you and Rd there...I'll cook but no cleaning even if your dust bunnies are playing checkers, I'm afraid... :H

Nora, I still haven't sent you my number. I'm so sorry. I'll get on it. Especially since you are effectively cut off from the rest of the world now.

Zenny, what's up with your tummy?? It sounds like the dreaded Vomit Virus...this is an awful experience as Sedona and I had it a few weeks ago. You should be on solid ground in a few hours though. Sending long distant hugs...it's pretty contagious I'm afraid.............."...............:l

Alls, you sound peaceful. In glad your still with us this week

Dots, what are the certificates tied to? Ie what company ? The stocks will never be worthless as long as the company is still in business. You could be holding shares of Johnson and Johnson!

            - SIL coming tomorrow and I'm going to make her a Christmas dinner! She was in China this year.

            Love you all :h

Allswell, I?m so very sorry. My prayers are with you. Please check in whenever you get a chance and know that we?re thinking of you if can?t. :h

Dottie I hope you can get your health sorted out soon.

Zen, I?m not doing much for Oz Day except listening to the JJJ Hottest 100 countdown and working on my uni stuff, but the rest of 'Straya seems to be having BBQ?s.

Pete, owning a cat isn?t just a good step towards handling a girlfriend, it will pretty much guarantee you the pick of the boards if you post a picture of you with said cute kitty on a dating website! You may want to think of a different name for that though. :H

Don't worry MB, you won't scare me off. I've already more or less joined you guys on the no sex life. The difference is before, I was depressed and drinking alcoholically, and now I'm starting to care. Every time I see the "Monthly Abstinence" forum I cringe inwardly :H I wish I could dream about checkers! Anything would be better than waking up and being reminded that you're not getting any. Oh, and did I mention that in my world, I'm the only person on the planet who's not getting some?

Dottie, will the specialists even look at the other specialists reports? I would have thought they'd be relieved to have professional test results from other areas to help them with their diagnoses.

glass: Only the blood work but the cardiologist did look at them all and the allergist did too, she is the smartest one of the bunch IMHO....the issues are not obviously connected. I am looking at more docs..my primary care doc is pretty good at pulling it all together but he is not a specialist in any of them. I have to be my own advocate. I have a medical background so I throw questions at them and sometimes they just look at me...I am trying to wade through the BS and not let them throw meds at me...it is a struggle for sure.

Oh Dottie - I am so sorry. So, nobody can give you an answer on why you're so tired and the hair loss, etc??????? I feel bad that I've been so preoccupied that I haven't even asked. :l I think about you and was wondering what you had found out. :h
