    Hi all,

    Close encounter yesterday again for the new years especially friends family and strangers drinking in a party......lived strong.

    Anyone else with close calls?

    Great on you on remaining sober. I was at church so this year wasn't bad but you can do it!
    I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

    Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

    Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.

      I was at a goth night in an old church. Bloke we'd been talking to was trying to get rid of some cans of Strongbow (cider), offered me a can. I could have grabbed it, flicked ring pull and guzzled but I didn't.

      I did dance for a good 40 mins zero alcohol consumed, and no other drugs bar caffiene.
      I used the Sinclair Method to beat my alcoholic drinking.

      Drank within safe limits for almost 2 years

          No close calls for me- stayed in and only alcohol in house was my Dad's whiskey- wouldn't dream of going there!

          Keep up the good work for 2014 xx
