Happy 2014 everyone! I had a wonderful night. Spent it at church for the watchnight service. Now I am getting all caught up and watched the ball drop on yt. Now to finish my champagne (which is alcohol free) and go to bed. Here to 2014 being a great year and a sober year for not only myself but for everyone on here that wants to quit drinking. You can do it. Life will go on after you quit drinking, but don't spend too much time worrying about the future. Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.
Well 2014 for me is finally here and has been here for 1 hour and 35 min. Here are some of the things that happened to me in 2013. 2013 was a big year for me. Here to 2014 being even bigger!
I graduated college for the second and final time.
Had a couple of job leads-although 1 didn't work and 1 still waiting on. This one isn't in my career field but it will do until I can get into it.
Lost my brother's cat Ashes to Leukemia.
I made it through another year without cussing.
No drinking or smoking.
Grew in my faith by attending all three services at church.
And those are just a few things that happened to me in 2013.
