The other occupants of the house are all still fast asleep, so it's nice and quiet The cubs were absolutely knackered last night, so I guess they'll be sleeping late in any case.

Normal weekend chores lined up, and then need to get my mindset back onto work :upset: Monday looms large.

Oh, back at weather: sun was up a lot later than usual, I thought. 22 Dec come and gone and it thinks it can slack off on getting up in the morning. I'll be complaining about short days and cold and rain soon - April's just around the corner.:upset::upset::upset:

Another day in madhouse looming

Had started my week with a practice of gratefulness in the morning. Trying to shift the ol negative thinking. Simple things, ya know? Like a roof over me head, a warm bed, running water, food n coffee in the cupboard, money to pay bills, good friends, relative good health and so on..... Not working for me this morning at all for some reason! Maybe got up wrong side of the bed or summat but just in pure grump form!

Going out to dinner this evening with friends and hoping my mood shifts afore this.

Wouldn't mind a wee trip around Ikea- always find something to buy!

Whatever yis are for doing- hope all have a nice day, especially you MrT- with work again on Monday- feel for ye x

Morning Tipps Tawny Dreamy Spidy and all to come. Still dark and cold. It rained last night and yesterday so hope it won't be too bad today. First coffee made and 2 cats fed one is still out. Not too keen on Ikea flat pack furniture tho they do have some nice stuff. Only been to Ikea once over here as its not near me and needs a car to get there so last time bro in law and sis brought me. Going to town later just go some shopping to do and may be a coffee abd snack in Starbucks. Have a super Saturday.:cat:awprint::cupajoe:

xpost morning sweetie I know the feeling I get bad days too and the blah bluesy feeling can come out of no where but like you itry to practice gratitude. Enjoy your dinner tonight it might a tonic for you. I need to get out more. Tho I don't have a lot of peeps to socialise with and not a lot of money for evenings out but I guess even the cinema or a meal out now and then. Even the pool lol. Enjoy your evening.:l

I must admit I haven't noticed the change in sunrise yet, Dreamy.

I've never been to an Ikea outlet, so can't comment. I've read about the founder - quite a business he put together.
