I was Sweety, it was really good today. Even the bloke that was absolutely hammered and had to be politely asked to leave. He's going into de-tox Friday and we reckoned he was having a last hoorah before he went in. He was no bother and kept apologising for his language..........I've heard worse.

Exhaustion setting in here too- think its time to hit the leaba.

Work no better at all. Hard to describe but just pressures from all ends, ye know?
There's big pressure on beds and people being discharged too soon (imho) to make space for people waiting on trolleys in A&E. Families not happy, we are not happy and managers acting the bollix big-style! I wonder if it were their Mother or Father would they like them treated like some commodity or piece of meat? Damm right they wouldn't. Media not helping matters either. Just feels like the system is gonna collapse and if it don't it's staff certainly will!!

But!! I'm learning to look at the bigger picture- haven't been able to see past the hospital and ward with all it's probs past while- nearly taking it on me own shoulders- slowly learning to let go.... that 'ol serenity prayer again- very relevant.

Apologies for rant but hafta be honest.
