It's 8 months today since i last drank. I've lost 47 pounds and feel great.
Had some severe cravings over xmas and new year but didn't cave I still log on here every day and you are all still helping me tremendously even if you don't know it :thanks:
I can't imagine i will ever drink again. I really hope not. why after all this time would i want to go back to that insanity? All bloated and feeling like total death? It would be ridiculous. I have no intention of ever starting on day 1 again. Alcohol you can kiss my sober arse!! x

It is hard for me to imagine choosing to drink again, too, but so many really committed, good, intelligent people who know the same things I now know, have made that mistake. I know I'm not superior to them in any way.

So, I guess we just stay vigilant, right? I don't mind thinking about not drinking at this level - it is more of a positive thought now rather than a stressful one, like it used to be.

another fellow vegan here, and I too lost 50 lbs with exercise and a great diet! isn't it amazing how good you can feel after feeling so bad for so long!? :goodjob:

Another vegan! Way to go Bettygirl!!! It certainly does feel strange to feel this good. I feel 21 again not 41! Thank god our bodies are forgiving cos by rights i should be dead. I will be respecting my body from now on x
