Evening army had a long nana this afternoon felt very tired today for some reason. Just having a coffee the see what to have for dinner not in the mood for cooking much so something simple. Pj day for me just chillin reading and watching tv. tho hopefull won't affect my sleep too much tonight. Tipps and Dramy have any of you ever visited Europe? I know Mrs T has just wondering if you have been out of SA or other parts of Africa/ Would love to visit SA some day myself before I get too old and infirm:H

Just had a scrumptious dinner of enchilada (re-heated from other night), salad and wedges- was delish Watched Sweet Home Alabama- so love that film - sooo romantic!

Foxy- I had to resist temptation of a nana nap- don't wanna be awake listening to the ghosts again tonight!

Back from a beautiful walk around Llangollen, followed by a fab meal.

Feeling good but reading back peapants I am with you on the Hail Mary"s fancy one of Tips and Dreamys toasties.

I don't know who this was directed at last night Zens but it is out of order.

Who decides what this thread was intended to be ? Who cares really. Maybe it's changed & evolved but what's wrong with that ?
I am on this thread over 2 years and think of myself as an integral part of it - only trailing after others but only in experience of AF life but with my own way of adding to the thread.
WE ALL make the thread what it is - and I for one am happy with the way it is.
No-one OWNS it - there is no room for hierarchy - so let's PARK IT !

Come and visit Fox - there's a spare room for you here. It would be lovely :l:l:l . Only parts of Europe I'd been to are France, the Netherlands, Switzerland. Here: Namibia, Swaziland, Lesotho, Zambia, Zimbabwe. Also lived in Botswana for more then eight years.

You know, you're right Satz. It was out of order. I'm angry and I have been since I got the old heave ho from Jackie and Molly. So there's another elephant that is being acknowledged now!

At least you call a spade a spade Satz... I respect that.

There is very little I can say here now... I'm outnumbered and I'm going to be made to look bad no matter what. I didn't make a fuss, kept it to myself and disappeared, but being who I am I can't just slink away. It was two against one... I was bound to come off worse... but I really don't appreciate an unfair playing field.

AND... I will no doubt come off very badly again having posted this missive! Sometimes one just can't win, so I shall take my beating gracefully and move on.

Arsey left after he had that drink. Reccy is as fit as a fiddle. I talk to him every day. He is modding successfully, getting out lots more than he used to, and Amy is systematically eating his house.

This isn't a school playground.

We are supposedly adults- all here for the one purpose of beating the booze, learning to live a more fulfilling and meaningful life without poisoning/killing ourselves in the process, no?

Suppose it's only to be expected that where there are people there will be disagreements, differences of opinion. Respect and common courtesy cost nothing.

Lets not forget why we are here, first and foremost.
