Zen: you and I have come a long way and I owe you a debt of gratitude. The manner of your return caused upheaval, though.

I refuse to get involved in the conflict that has been simmering, so I'll be taking a back seat for a while. As one of the long-standing posters on this thread, I feel caught in the middle, and I won't allow that.

My son celebrated one month clean and sober yesterday!! He is almost 20... I am so proud of him!
Me sobering up certainly spoilt his ideas of puberty!

Sol, the Army is generally crazy thread: lots of jokes, chitchat, venting space, support when needed - home away from home, in other words. How do you live without a ?????????????????? key??????????? Mind you, my cat once managed to loosen my Enter key - took me a while, but I fixed it!

Fox, I think the headache was sort of sinus-related: when the farmers spray their orchards, it clogs up my sinuses, and I think that led to a very achy head.

Later all - the gardener is here, have to keep him busy with work I'm too much of a wimp to do.
