Is yer daughter still for buying your house? If that's the case hopefully ye wont be under too much pressure to move everything at once. Tell us what yer new house is like?

Thanks for posting this Jacks- just reading down list of symptoms I could tick yes to all. The mood swings and irritability are really hitting me bad at times- don't remember ever being so bad before. Knowing that they don't last forever does help.

Also working on the old anxiety levels- hence trying to cut-down me fav coffee:upset:
Know that exercise would help also but I do find it hard to get into a regular routine with the shift work.

It was such a relief when I read about it...........thought I was going barmy tbh.

I mean when you think about it took us years for our drinking to get horrible........it's not going to get better in a week.

Never mind taking years to get horrible, Jacks, when I think of it one of my first experiences with drink was an absolute nightmare. Still ashamed to this day. Carried home from the school formal to my parents house aged just 16- nearly comatose.. no shoes, puke all down my dress etc..was the talk of the whole country... why oh why did I not learn my lesson then?:upset: My poor parents too- the look of disgust and shame the next day still cuts me to the bone.

It will be etched in my memory til my dying day MrsA- like it was truly a nightmare. I had started drinking before the formal- outside with others.... never had vodka before... well... I never actually made it into the formal- collapsed outside the place- taken home by a lady who knew my parents and so many other awful things happened. Oh the shame.... and for weeks afterwards even the smell of hairspray made me retch.

Yet, I went on to pursue a 'career' in drinking- nearly sub-consciously trying to 'beat-it' after what it had done to me that night. Madness!! Yeah, we know who won that war?!
