i feel like i am a fraud as it is, i have yet to do a swim ride run type of training trial. I have done a swim ride. and a ride run, but i have not strung them all together. the thought of two days not swimming or running seems a waste to me.
This is your first one - don't push it too much, and pace yourself. Given that the swim leg is the one you feel least confident about, make sure you don't push yourself too hard (some of those starts can be a bit brutal with everyone wanting to get out in front). You want to finish the swim with lots of energy for the cycle and run. Don't worry about having not strung them all together - it will happen on the day.
I say this as someone who does this for the enjoyment and satisfaction of this sport, and who usually comes in right at the back of the pack :-)
