      Or will you liberally apply vaseline to avoid cycle rash?

      If it was being held on the second of mar ch I'd be cheering you on as I'll be at Thornlands.

        At last....Cancer Council spoke out on ABC Breakfast this morning about alcohol being a class 1 carcinogen as recognised by WHO.

        Is it just me or is sense starting to reign this year? Are we actually starting to get real as a nation about alcohol abuse?????

        I have GOT to get out of here....'Sorry I'm late, just posting on my favourite forum for alcoholics' :H:H

          I'm waiting for plain labelling and health warnings... but the alcohol industry is more powerful than the tobacco industry.

                  Aspy ? every training session is one in the bank ? no matter how well or otherwise you thought it went. I wouldn?t do a trial attempt of the whole thing if I were you, but it would be good perhaps to do some shorter combined sessions that include each transition. So a couple with the swim/bike legs, and a couple with the bike/run legs and make sure you have your transition strategy organised, including changing gear so you don?t take off on the run leg with your helmet on.

                  I reckon in three weeks you will blitz it! Just remember not to be too fast out of the starting blocks and pace yourself. And from memory there?s a nasty roundabout just out of transition on the cycle leg at Raby that you may want to negotiate quite carefully.

                    1. I am wearing a "tri" suit, that will go from swim to bike to run.
                    2. I am sure to slip on some vas before during AND after the event, what better excuse is there?
                    3.I am defo up for coffee, did we sort a when/where? if its on the 2nd march I will have the kids as mum is working, but i love showing them of so thats a plus.

                      Can you make it somewhere an out of towner can get to fairly easily but? I'll have Veronica my trusty navi-aid, and I can borrow my friend's smaller car (I'm bringing up the ute as I need to stack the 2 cartons of Aldi beer I got for her partner, plus my scuba gear and the yellow happy car would be struggling a bit), or hop a train from Cleveland.

                      I leave this Sat. at crack of dawn but will log on a few times while I'm away.... when I'm not skiing, eating, or glued to the TV watching the winter Olympics.
