"chucking a sickie" today to do uni stuff. See? I can do work/life balance when I need to!
Tomorrow - different story. I need to take Ms B to the specialist centre for an ultrasound. Do I claim peternity leave or just lie?
And more importantly, how do I explain to my little one that she can't have breakfastThere's two ways of looking at the holes in your shoes
You can dig the ventilation... or you can sing the blues
I didn't come this far to only come this far.

Yay! Raggsie's skiing!! How did your body hold up, Rags?
Geez Undies, I lost not one but two posts yesterday. They just went 'Poof' - into the ether. And I'll have you know, they were both remarkable pieces of prize-worthy prose.
All good thoughts to ailing animals and people.

Does anyone have a secret for washing ants out of one's eyes? Anyway long story.
I was up at sparrows with a look of ragged determination on the face and am happy to report that I now have a potting shed!
Run Bunnings Run.
I had to tear up, screed a sand base and re-lay the flooring pavers due to rat damage when it was a chook shed. Two portable greenhouses, a re-purposed science lab bench and some large bins for various soil mixes and I'm away.
Anyway, decent day's work.
Are you supposed to be skiing Rags? Better stay with the kiddies.
Well peeky boo Mr G. Time for the creativements to happen now?
Could it be carer's leave Glassy? If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

But gee it was a lovely few runs I did.
Now for the rather unsightly.
This is my left hip.
A fairly large 15 x 15 centimetre bruise... healing, but sore.
Glassy, we still up for weight loss buddy system?
Has everyone cooled down from the humidity?
If you are hot and sweaty, just take a look at KoolRaggsy.

Mr G.,
You'd be right on top of this one.
In the news last night here are big pushes in Seattle to raise the minimum wage to
wait for it
$15.00 an hour.
I guess that is why you can get a new car for half the price it is in OZ.

Wow my friend. You are a bloody marvel re the shed. :goodjob:
Rags, the best way i found to stop when skiing was to er, lean into the slope and slide to stop. It was usually a few metres from the trees to the outside of ski run. Then i'd get up and ski the rest using same braking principle. That bruise is a corker!
