One Step at a Time – February 2014

I made it about two hours before I felt completely overwhelmed and left and came home. I got a very detailed message from my accounting department and my mind just shut down and I started crying. Once THAT started....well ...you know.....you can't stop
So I am watching silly movies on Netflix and just vegging....
Pops service is Friday and I am taking off till Monday...my boss has been awesome. She lost twin daughters at birth (can you even imagine) three years ago and she is very compassionate.
PLease forgive me if I lay low for a bit
WHN looks like a 50's pin up model in that picture K9. She is just beautiful.
Feel better Dots and come clean my house ok? I an WAY behind right now....
I love my family more than alcohol.:h

One thing about boys is when they put their minds to something, it turns out better than expected and knocks your socks off! Yay for Grant...I am sure Nana is going to LOVE it!! I am glad you have time off. Relax and take care of YOU, too. Take a nice long bath and read a good book. Lay low as long as you need...we will be here when you are ready. Just remember we love you! :h
:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:

                  Hey all -

Jan - I've been thinking of you constantly too. :l I hope that you were able to relax a bit today. That's wonderful that Grant wrote such a beautiful eulogy. :h

K9 - WHN is beautiful! But, we know where she gets it from.

I'm trying to get caught up with everyone. I tried to throw my back out today at work so I am totally babying it. Grrrr

On a really funny note - I started a thread to complain about people giving threads a one star rating. Somebody gave it a one star. :H:H ROTFL I couldn't stop laughing.

Ok - I'll be back. Need to pay some bills and read back.

K9, your daughter is so beautiful and wholesome looking! Sort of along the lines of Tammy Tyree or Ellie Mae Clampett. I mean that as a compliment.

                      PMSL!!!! :H:H:H

                      Assholes abound Nora!

Spent a night with Netflix watching episodes of "An Idiot Abroad". Can heartily recommend, especially the 2nd series. It's a whacky British travel show... interesting and very funny if you like that kind of thing. )

Had a bit of the blahs today but actually starting to feel brighter tonight so reckon I'll be back on form by tomorrow. Bloody mood swings! One of those days I'll work out what makes me tick... maybe... ;o)

Nora, sorry about your back sweetie...I've done something to my blasted neck! I'm seeing a chiropractor tomorrow and I am not a big fan but I'm out of options.... how's Scott. Btw?

FT congrats on getting out of Victor vile in one piece! :goodjob:

Pauly how r u honey? I hope things have calmed down and you can just have sweet times with baby Louie.

Liz how's your son? This may sound odd but Did he have ultra sound to dissolve the stone? I was listening today to Jessie Ventura (of all people! ) as he was discussing this procedure for his own own kidney stone...never heard of it before today! He said it was great!

                        Hi Glass, how are you?

The girls were *^%##}#^+insane tonight...I wanted to %#%*+*^%} dart gun them down and deposit them in their beds....hormone hell.

Matt had a set back but at least he admitted this time. He sounded so sad...I cried almost all through our Arbinger lesson.thank heavens for the mute button. Our assignment this week is to pick someone we are IN THE BOX with and use the steps we have learned so far to try and get out....I'm picking someone easy...like the mail man......

                        Hugs to everyone:l

Sub unit of K9... that's funny Kradle! My boyfriend's brother talks like that... their mother is "Mom-Unit".

What is Arbinger? I guess I will Goggle it. I don't know who Jessie Ventura is either! I'm getting an ed-u-me-cashun... :new:

I did a course with the chiropractor twice a week for a month and it helped a little. I have scoliosis so nothing is going to be a cure all. I would give it a whirl though Kradle... nothing to lose. Relaxing is the hard part!

Glad you managed to keep the dart gun in it's holster... ;o)

you have been a life support to me, so no need to apologize. Your calls and texts have kept me laughing and focused on what needed to be done. I can never thank you enough
Kradle - what do mean Matt had a set-back, if it's not too personal or private to talk about? I am so proud of you for having him there...like we have told you, you are saving his life.
I am going to putter around the house today. Piles of laundry to be done, and I need to go get the boys something to wear to the services.
I wish you could all be my "bad" girlfriends in the back row.....there for support, but making faces and trying to make me giggle..it sounds disrespectful and I don't mean that. I just have a mental image of my rowdy, goofy girlfriends fresh out some dorky teen age movie. Niner has big hair and torn tights under a denim mini skirt, Nora has braces or better yet, head gear stuff, Zen can be all punk and Scottish and bad, Fen can wear baggy jeans and send off the aura that if anyone comes near us, she will cut them, Pauly can have pink hair coz she's in beauty school, Glass is the smart one, and FT can be the band nerd that hangs out with the girls. Oh and Allswell will be the good girl that goes to church. Kradle is the stressed out camp counselor surrounded by screaming campers. I, of couse, will be the slutty cheerleader!! I am thinking "Sixteen Candles" or "St Elmo's Fire"
ok...I am a total dork, but that image will be in my head and have me smiling .
Off for coffee and then to give us a star!!! I have some theories, but will keep my thoughts to myself.
I love my family more than alcohol.:h
