      Hiya folksies!

Tony... how did the Doc Visit go?

Nora... knee, back and shoulder update! I hear you on getting back to the gym... I'm in the process of easing myself back in to it. It's all too easy to go gung-ho and break more than you're fixing. 'Dem old bones! ;o)

Dottie... One of my neighbours' dogs is called Max... it's a cute name for a male dog. What was the hospital food like?

Fen... what did you make for Mrs Fen for her birthday? Inquiring minds! I'm thinking some kind of craft project...

Bastet... so of course I had to Youtube Magic, the Savannah... that's a special kitty. I want them ALL! I'll post a pic of my two boys in the next day or so...

Kradle... I'm glad you're having a good cat experience with your two. Mine are like little dogs too. Dougie used to fetch but for some reason decided to stop doing it one day. MacGregor (the Russian Blue that traveled to Europe with me) was harness trained. He used to steal though. he once stole a stewardesses engagement ring and hid in in his kitty litter... to my deep embarrassment!

Mama... are you glad to be back at work? Normality slowly coming back to your life... XXX

      :wavin: Hi to everyone else!

My friend that stayed over does deep tissue massage... well I am CRIPPLED today! I know it did the world of good and I bet by tomorrow I'll feel great but ouchy ouchy at the mo. I got the equivalent of about 4 sessions in one day yesterday. I feel like a walking lymphatic drainage system!

Zen, making two things for her. We were just in Portugal, which is the third larges cork supplier in the world, cork trees everywhere...so I found a picture frame of cork and glued all sorts of shells and beach glass from Portugal on it and I'm putting a pic of us (in Port) in it.

Second, I am making a small polymer clay plaque for her. Ages ago, I made us into cartoon characters, and I am putting those characters on the plaque.

        I can't believe she's 50!

You know what Fen... I am not the sharpest tool in the shed. I had NO idea cork came from cork trees! Feck knows where I thought it came from... I guess I just didn't consider it which is pretty mad given the amount of corks I've been in contact with. A pic of you two in Port in Portugal in a Portuguese cork frame... neat!

I didn't mind turning 50... hope it's not bothering her. I'll be 52 this year... half my journey seeing as I'm living to 100!

I'm glad all went well at the quack's Iad! The Jamaican bob sled team will probably have a billow of smoke behind them!

One Step at a Time – February 2014

                    Hi peeps,
For the curious yes I asked for her hand this past Friday as I realized all the good things she brings to my life and we make each other happy. Story is we first met and dated in 1982 but for some reason we drifted and went our separate ways, but neither one of us can remember why we did. I tried to find her in 2002 when I was in NY but her sister never gave her the message, she looked for me and found my brothers number and called him but he forgot to get her number (no caller ID). A couple of years ago she found me on FB and one late Friday she called and her first words were "do you know who this is" and my answer was yes as it was a voice that I never forgot. Come to find out that we had been been thinking about the other all these years and wondering where the other was and how each was doing...
So we started seeing each other and seeing each other and well this Friday I decided that I was not going to let her get away from me this time..
We are both very happy and thanks for all the support that you guys have given me to make all this possible...
                    Love you guys
                    FT
AF with a few speed bumps during 2014 & 2015 but will succeed.
As of 4/12/2014 I have not smoked at all and feel great.

That's so romantic FT! What a neat story...

My boyfriend and I first got together over 10 years ago... this is the 2nd time around.

Where is everyone? If you're all off having lives.....?!

Hamish has a new pastime... he's been galloping at the runner in the hallway, leaping on it and bunching it up in a pile. So far no slip and fall casualties... but the night is young!

One Step at a Time – February 2014

Hi all - just checking on to let you know that Bella and I are home from the vet specialist centre and her diagnosis has now been changed back from bowel cancer as the most likely suspect to a thyroid condition. She didn't have the ultrasound because the specialist vet had a different opinion to the treating one, so she's on meds and we'll reassess in a few weeks. So now her biggest danger is that I'm going to squeeze her to death with relief!

Fennel - what wonderfully thoughtful gifts! I'm sure they were beautiful.

Nora - sorry sweetie, but you know what they say. You know you're getting old when your back goes out more than you do! :H

I'm glad to hear you're chilling out Mama - it took you long enough to do what you're told!!

FT - that's lovely! Looks like everything's coming up FT at the moment, with the proposal and the new job all falling into place!

You can dig the ventilation... or you can sing the blues

I didn't come this far to only come this far.
