Still freezing *ss cold here, but at least it's sunny! These are the hardest of winter days to endure, it seems. When spring should be just around the corner and we're just sick to death of harsh weather. It seems that we midwesterners/northerners got slammed beginning at Thanksgiving...and it hasn't stopped since.

I wonder if there is any way to get rid of that obnoxious survey banner that keeps scrolling by?

Up to freezing here..and the sun it out...woohoo!!!
Got to the gym and did 30 min of cardio and 30 weights..my friend is a little less aggressive than I am but at least she is trying..she has a lot more weight to lose....we are meeting again Wednesday. I will probably join the gym with her...not my first choice for a gym but if I have a workout buddy I will be more likely to go.

Mama, when did you live up north? Where? So curious....yeah, I have one of those full spectrum light thingies to gaze into during the cold months to try to pep me up. I totally neglected to do that this year. One is supposed to begin this light therapy in late August!

Tiger is a great kitty name. How old is Nana? You guys really made a good call getting her that cat.

My mom's cat, Mooch, has been such a great companion to her. He's pretty old now. I was brushing him yesterday- he's starting to get that "old kitty" rough coat.

I think it's so important to have someone to come home to...even a cat. J's sister and nephew got two cats after her hubs passed away a year ago. They have really brought new life into that house. She just sent me a pic today of the cat food bag after the crafty youngest one tore into it. :H

Hello all - I couldn't get on from work today. Very busy - but, I left a few hours early anyway. Back & neck are bugging me but I think that it's all just stress. Wednesday is the first year anniversary of my Dad's passing and I think that is what is going on. Stress does crazy things to you.

I took the survey and thought that the banner would go away but it didn't. But, seriously, I am ok with it. I hate to think of advertisements on here but I just can't afford the monthly membership. It would be really tight for me right now. So, I am grateful that they are looking at other options first. It seems that you can take the survey without logging in so that might be an option. This place means so much to me and to be honest, the support & encouragement I get from you all has kept me going. :h

I was so shocked to find out that Harold Ramis passed away. One of my all time favorite actors/directors. Sad.......

Mama - I'm glad that you had a talk with her. Work first then friendship. She needs to get her act together.

Hi gang from Sarasota and the new job,
Well week one is done and I am not getting the feeling jolly from this as its a new airline and is not even flying yet, but the one point that bothers me the most is that there seems to be a hiring of "old" friends that have no idea as to the airplanes that are to be operated... good ole boy system at work..... Not like.
BUT during training today I got 4 phone calls for jobs, imagine that... why is it when you accept one the phone rings off the hook... SO I have one that is very interesting and pays 12k more a year so yea DUH im exploring that one...
Hope everyone is doing as well as they can as I am fighting that demon as much as I hate hotels...
