K9, my iron is downstairs...in a dark, dusty closet. I use it only when spiffing up a suit for a) funerals, or b) weddings.

I'm feeling badly today...it's bitterly cold, and I noticed that I haven't seen any birds at my feeder in ages...despite the fact that it had a good supply of seeds in it. Finally dawned on me that I hadn't cleaned it in ages! Birds won't visit a dirty feeder, even in this weather. I brought it in and scrubbed it up and dried it quickly over the heating vents in my living room, so as to get it back outside and doing some good.

I filled it with fresh seeds and threw a lot on the ground for skwerls and juncos. I really try to be a good citizen where birds and critters are concerned and I feel I've let them down. I hope they figure out quickly that the feeder has been sanitized for their protection!

Mama, if I get my clothes out of the dryer while they're still warm, they look pretty presentable. You and Ms. Sunshinedaisies are the only peeps I know who are really into ironing. I wouldn't be surprised if Sun irons her skivvies! :H

Fennel, we love to feed our birds. The problem is the squirrels. We have gotten every kind of squirrel proof feeder we can find and they still manage to get into it. Actually they are very clever and it is fascinating to watch them mull over the problem and sort it out. The cats also find it very entertaining.

Hey guys , haven't read back but I'll take the time to do so tomorrow. So much going on here I don't eve know where to start. Wedding plans are going full speed ahead. They go mortgage approval and the closing is Monday. Hubby is trying to get a permit to move his office into the house. Not to mention were planning the bridal shower and furniture shopping. Too much going on to even THINK about al, but my head is spinning and I'm feeling stressed. I'll get a good nights sleep and catch up with you all tomorrow, I promise!

Hubs bought me a flower bowl with all kinds of different flowers in it for v-day,cutest little humingbird flew up to it on sunday,i love humingbirds cuz you dont see them much,and i agree 3 months on miss prego haha
