Ok to clarify, I call my kids my little ones even though they are all big! Daughter EB just turned 27, daughter CJ just turned 24 and my son "the baby" is 20!

Dentist visit went well. Still numb, but that's one way not to eat! Off to go shop some more and then kick back and enjoy some me time. Hubby has a late meeting tonight. Check in later.

Hey Nora. Glad to hear you are feeling better. I am sending a prayer up to your daddy.
Lizz, my "babies" are 18 and 21.
Bri was a wreck, but there's really nothing to document. Her "boyfriend" isn't meetng her silly demands and I told her to relax and have an adult conversation with him and quit all the stupid texting that can come across wrong.
KFC pot pies, Netflix, and more work on "my" Shakespeare paper.
Tiger got neutered and had his front paws declawed today, so he is at the kitty hospital for the night. Nana misses him. YAY!
I love my family more than alcohol.:h

Pauly - I totally get your frustration at being late...I am a STICKLER (ok, bitch...LOL) for being on time. If I am late, I am either dead or in the hospital. I have engrained that into Sierra's head too...she picks me up from work every single day and has never once been late. She knows I will get ghetto if she's late. LOL

KFC Potpies and Netflix sound great...Shakespeare not so much. I am looking forward to a Hummus sandwich and 1.5 hours on the Dreadmill. Tiger will be all set by tomorrow! I need to take both my dogs in to get their nails trimmed. Forrest is the biggest wimp in the world, he whines like a baby if you touch him wrong, and Lucy the Demon screams like you're skinning her alive.

I am starting to feel bad for Bri....we ALL know that Baby Daddy is not going to be what she wants him to be. The whole on/off again thing is the first red flag. Unfortunately, now there is a child involved...(well, two actually).

One hour and two minutes left of work...but who is counting.
:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:

              Hiya guys!

I hope everyone is doing well... XXX

I'm having a peaceful night on the couch watching Netflix with a pizza (forbidden treat!). Bill is bowling and I have the gaff to myself... not very exciting but just what the Doc ordered.

I have no real news except I'm going down to Key Largo on Friday for the weekend. I have friends that live there and they're having a Mardi Gras party on Saturday... I even had my toes done a sparkly purple and got beads and an eye mask for the occasion.

I'm not too keen on the scrolling banner at the top of the screen... it's kinda naff! I did the survey... it would be rude not to as RJ is keeping us afloat and it sounds like the cost of running the forum has become an issue.

Back to the boob tube and the fleecy blanket!

Yeah, there aren't that many of them (here in the midwest) that are actually venomous...and spiders are mother nature's pest control.

Now, when you mention "potato" bugs...do you mean the beetle with the stripey shell, or that massive, ant on steroids looking critter that is also described as a potato bug? :H

Mama, I thought Shakespeare was actually...Shakespeare! Quite a political rabble-rouser with some of his plays. As for Queen E 1...I'm a bit of a fan of hers. I sort of think that while she played the part at seeming to consider suitors from time to time, she KNEW what would happen if she married. All power would be forfeited to her husband. I think she played her cards well and stayed single and childless. No gain at all for a woman to have children out of wedlock. I think she was incredibly smart. I can't imagine what it must have been like to be her.

I have to say, I agree with Nora where Bri is concerned. Document, document, document. I have a bad feeling about this one.

Dottie, so glad that hub's results came back negative! Now he doesn't have to fret again for a long while.

Pauly...that sucks about daughter and the exam. What was she thinking? When can she take a make-up exam?

Nora, I'm glad you took a day for yourself. Those anniversaries can really hit us, can't they? I still get blue on my dad's anniversary. :l

Zen, your mardi gra party sounds like fun! I hope you have a good time.

K9...1.5 hours on the dreadmill?!? I throw myself a ticker tape parade for 45 minutes! :H

Better you didn't see her then, Pauly. I don't think you're being judgemental you're just not enabling!
K9 an hour an a half? How many miles do you do? I'm back on my treadmill in a few minutes. I run four to five miles and hate every minute of it. I feel great when I'm done though.
Going to lunch with my coworker who retired last May. Looking forward to catching up. Hubby is dragging me shopping today. He lost 40 pounds and needs new clothes. God give me strength!
                            Happy Thursday all!

Pauly, how frustrating! I hope daughter buckles down and studies up for the March exam. I guess we all find out in our own time that behaviors have consequences.

Lizann, I wish I could run. I suck at it! Still, there's nothing like that nice endorphin lift a good work out provides. Exercise really is the best anti-depressant. K9 must be on freaking cloud 9! :H

Got some stuff to get done today...need to make an eye appointment for sure. I am overdue and my vision has definitely changed. I wish glasses weren't so expensive!
