What are you studying at uni??
      Thanks for the HR perspective

Thanks Mama - that's a lovely thing to say and I wish we were in the same time zone too. I'm usually getting ready to race out to work when I see all your overnight posts in the morning and then by the time I get home you've all moved on to another topic!

Don't forget you need to look after yourself too in all this mess. It's sad that Bri has obviously had a very difficult life that's led her to where she is, but she's also an adult and there's only so much you can do.

My uni work is a PhD into various aspects of coaching athletes with a disability. It's really interesting but I struggle at times to manage it with my full time job as well.

I'm sorry you're sick Pauly, that sounds painful! I don't know anything much abut the drugs kids take these days but gee they sound scary. At least in my day if you stuck to weed it was generally pretty natural.

K9 I had one of those implants too, and I swear they only work by making sure you never have checkers again. 2 days after having mine put in I broke up with the person I was seeing and went through the longest drought in the history of the world. I'm sure it was that damned implant that jinxed me! :H:H

        Hi everyone ....

K9 - no worries with replying - it is really hard! LOL. Just hope that you and Sierra get stuff sorted.

Mama - When I had chemo, my periods stopped then when everything evened out they started again - so I had to go through menopause a SECOND time - what the heck ??? You are lucky that yours stopped with your chemo !!! It was the pits going through it twice !!! There are some perks to chemo (not many but that had to be one of them !!). I support Bri in her choice - not sure I could ever have done it but it is better than going through a pregnancy that is unwanted. Will she NOW take precautions? Good for you in talking to her the way that you did.

K9 - my daughter has an implant of some sort in her arm - but then when it 'expires' you have to pay to have it taken out - and she has no insurance - so it is still there ! It is sad that it is so expensive to have that type of thing taken care of.

Dottie - our snow has stopped for the moment - the roads were really bad going to work this morning but are okay now - but with temps supposed to get down to -5 tonight, it is likely to be bad again tomorrow (and Jan - I do NOT want to hear about your 70 degrees!!!! :H:H).

Jan - my daughter showed me her thing on FB - it gave me goosebumps ! They have done an AMAZING job putting all those together !!!! I LOVE them - I do not have FB but have seen both my daughters FB ones and some of their friends that I know - they are just wonderful!

Pauly - so sorry that you are so broke after paying rent .... that just is the pits. hopefully you have some more money coming in before the end of the month??? Oh - and if it was your gallbladder, you would KNOW ! My mum had that problem and she was in agony .......

Winer - welcome ! This is a wonderful place to be .... please join in.....

And on that note, I am going to go and take a nap - came home from work early due to an awful really terrible (LOL) nose bleed ! About the third one of these that I have had where it just will NOT stop - had to go to Urgicare for the first one - now I just pack it myself until it stops. Have no idea what is causing them - but they are the PITS ! I do not feel well and need a nap ......

        hugs to all,

        Love, Sun XXX

Aah Sun,i get paid everyday so if its busy tomorrow ill be cool, the right to choose is a tricky one to talk about,i dont know what id do,but im glad it is an option for those who choose to,except only if its early in the pregnancy, ridiculous to be months along and terminate,to me thats murder
I have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink:sohappy:

I'm taking care of the "tomorrow me"
Drinkin won't help a damn thing! Will only make me sick for DAYS and that ugly, spacey dumb feeling-no thanks!

Sun...the nosebleeds really worry me.....that's not normal is it??
Glass - that is SO cool that you are studying training athletes with disabilities. That's not your chosen profession at the moment is it.
Pauly- everyone is very divided on that issue and I respect all opinions. I hope you make some money tomorrow!!
As expected, by the end of the day Bri was changing her mind...whatever...
Chicken in the fryer , liima beans and fresh tomato salad. Yum
BTW.....the King family is in the news again fighting over their father's personal items. My 6th grade buddy, Bernice, wants the Nobel Peace Prize and MLK's bible to be kept in the family and Martin and Dexter (the brothers) want to sell it to the highest bidder......they have been through this before.
            off to eat and flop
            KISSES!!!

Hi everyone! Glad to see everyone is doing well here. I am doing good. Staying sober and doing classes in the morning and working after school. The weather has been brutal all winter long but I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Would love to catch up with everyone here!

Hey Jan - no, the nosebleeds are not normal - but i am not going to an ENT (suggestion from the ER the first time) as I do NOT want cauterization - it only works 50% of the time and can cause many problems ! The nosebleeds are a real nuisance and I always feel so unwell after them for some reason.....but I feel a bit better now.

Pauly - wish I got paid every day - oh - I suppose I do really - just they hold it til the end of the week ...LOL. Yes, I agree with you on the termination of pregnancy - as long as it is early - plus I am not sure that I could ever have done it - but was never put in that position so I cannot say what is right or not - I have not walked in their shoes. Tough decision.

Mama - Laughed at your 6th grade buddy wanting the Nobel Peace Prize - so do I !! How about THAT for co-incidence!

I am off to dry my hair and get to bed early - still not 100% and just want to sleep.

hugs to all, love, sun XX

Hi you Kradle! Yeah I had a few sober buds in my real life world get very intoxicated during the Super Bowl and knowing the fact where you live. I will be honest if the Minnesota Vikings had won that game I would have celebrated. I am very much looking forward to boating season and hitting the lakes for fishing. I will be around more often here. I miss my friends here.

Hi Lizann! Thank you for the warm welcome back. I am doing very well. Lots of amazing stuff going on in life. How have you been? So fun to catch-up with everyone. I have kept in touch with K9ers and being the saint she is got me back to posting and sticking around with people who understand me. So I am going to post when I can. I am a busy guy right now, but I realize I need to take out of my day to see how my friends on here our doing. It does help me a lot to talk to others who struggle with the demon of AL. Whether it's online or a real life support group it does work.

But, I'm doing ok. I'll be better after this weekend. Flying up to visit hubby Sat & Sun. I've been reading a lot. Just started a new book......Sharp Objects. Great so far. So back to my book.
