Hello to everyone - home from my weekend visiting my hubby. We still don't have answers about what can be done about his Dad. His Dad just can't live alone but hubby can't stay up there for a year while waiting for an opening in assisted living.
I will catch up with everyone tomorrow. Time to crash. Love & hugs......:h"Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.".....Carol Burnett

I think it is one of the hardest things to come to terms with who you are without any chemical alterations. I have had my share of diagnoses and my share of prescriptions. At times what was prescribed did help (even though I did not mention the AL -not smart). I am free of everything now and I still have my down days and today I was wondering what my purpose in life is. I feel like I am treading water and not going anywhere. The last time I quit my shrink said that it was normal for moods to ebb and flow. However, If you ebb and flow a lot or quite severely, it might be a good idea to see someone about it, especially now that you are without AL. For me I have been really dizzy whenever I get up. I should probably go to the doc, but don't want to yet. So far I can handle the little bit of down mood I get in to. I wish you well and hope you can find some homeostasis. You're going in the forward direction.:earth: Tree23

As for Bri...she's always going to make wrong choices. Try to remain detached, mama. :h

Hi all,
12F here and ugly but we are going out and run some errands.
I noticed that without AL on a daily basis my blood pressure has dropped dramatically. I was getting dizzy when standing up and I think my BP meds were dropping it too low so I have stopped the one med and feel so much better...I think the AL and the bloating made my BP high..and maybe losing 15 pounds so far has helped too...all the bad things I did to my poor bod.....
Mama u are doing great with all the stress in your life right now...will continue to keep u and family in my prayers.

Hi Everyone!
Mama...is Pop still hanging on? I am sending you love and hugs :l:h
FD - Definitely get a real diagnosis! I am still searching for a psychiatrist for Sierra, I don't think our GP is qualified to diagnose her as "schizophrenic". So....still looking...I have it narrowed down, finally.
Love you guys, I need to catch up. Mama - Give Pop an extra special hug from us
:hPop:h:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:
Believe in yourself. You are stronger than you think.
