One Step at a Time – February 2014

    Hi Kids!!!

I bet I threw you off with my new picture huh??? That's WHN and her little sister, Stella. They are exactly 13 years apart...to the day and almost HOUR. LOL

We are finally getting rain!! My lawn will not know what hit it! Now all I need to do is cover the entire living room with pee pads....heaven forbid the poochies get their precious paws wet!

Wow Mama, impressive. Shakespeare...and weren't you doing physics a while ago? You be super smart! Hows Princess Gag-a today? I kinda feel sorry for her too, but hey, you made your bed (and did other things in it...lol), now deal with it!

Since Pauly is an expert hair hacker...what advice do you have for me in growing this "pixie" cut out without it turning into a mullet? LOL :H It was fun, but now I think I'll let the top grow out a bit. Nobody at work ever knows what I'm going to do next, and that's the way I like it. HA

Liz - "Good LICK with the job" ??? LOL....I never thought of licking...but hey, I'm willing to try anything at this point.

So squirrels are tree rats, seagulls are rats in the sky, and my chichuahua is a barking rat. I'm seeing a trend here. Speaking of wildlife, Sierra was panicking cuz there was a huge spider over her bed last night, so I went in to rescue it and I had it in my hands and jumped off her bed (a loft bed) and darn near broke my foot again. When am I going to realize I am not 24 anymore?

On that sad note, I guess I will pretend to do some work now.

    Love y'all!!! :h
:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:

fen we have been looking at condos but with 4 dogs we cant find anything..may look for a ranch house instead..I have a good fellow that cuts my grass and we have a snow blower too....but the idea of packing up this house scares me.....been here 18 years and we have a huge collection of things....

Dottie- Wow, four dogs? That is a challenge. Seems like you'd need a condo with some yard for them. What kind of dogs?
I hear you about all the "stuff". We will have to store or sell or give away a ton of furniture to downsize.

K9, you are a woman after my own heart. You had the spider in your hands? I thought I was the only person brave enough to rescue those little (sometimes not so little) guys with my bare hands! The leap from the loft was not the best idea...glad you didn't bust anything.

Oh yeah Fen, I will pick up any living critter...even a potato bug (have you seen how UGLY those things are? LOL). I don't see the big deal...why do people freak out over bugs? Really, you're scared of something that's 1/1000th your size? OK then. :H

Dottie...Nan is trying to figure out her next house...but she only has Tiger Kitty...definitely no stairs for her either
K9...I laughed out loud at "lick for a living". Is there any money in that ??
I was Googling Physics, my love, not doing any. Big difference.
I pick up bugs too. My big moose of a husband is afraid of lizards, for Pete's sake.

K9 I was going to correct the spelling, but you licking might actually work.

Mama would love to hear more. We have three kids total. EB is the oldest. How far along is bri? It's gotta stop sooner or later!

Fen, I am now going to refer to it as the dread mill too! I can't read while running so I watch tv. Last week Air Force One was on and let me tell you, that was the perfect movie to run to! The time flew, pardon the pun.

It's settled...I will give licking a try. LOL

I thought Grant was taking a physics test a while ago and got a really low score and I was like "leave the dude alone, if he gets even one physics question right he's doing good" :H

Dreadmill is exactly right! Although I have to say that my hour flies by as I watch Netflix. I am currently on Season 8 of Dexter. House of Cards will be next (if I last that long, that is).

Clay was working in physics Niner...you are right..and I was googling answers to the make up exam....muahahahahahaha
Lizz - Bri is about 6 weeks pregnant. And a major drama queen. I could go on....
Niner, I really like your hair so I have no advice.
Hubs took me to lunch. He was a little afraid of our waitress cause her HUGE penciled eyebrows made him think of clowns and he doesn't like them either.....
Sir Francis Bacon was born at the court of Queen Elizabeth I. He "might" have been her son with Sir Robert Dudley, but I am skeptical.
Anyhoo....he was a brilliant writer and many believe he wrote the Shakespeare work.
Pauly - I hope Louis is ok, poor baby. And good luck to Kells. How is she these days?
Did WHN get the Panda Express job?
ok...off to annoy Bri while listening to The Bee Gee Channel I created on Pandora. It has awesome disco music, etc. She hates it. It is, sadly, against company policy to listen to rap full of F bombs, so my music wins!
                  bbbbyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I knew SOMEONE was doing SOMETHING in physics!!! Oh...so sorry hubs was scared of the clown lady. Did she look like a drag queen? Why does it seem like Bri is 6 MONTHS pregnant instead of WEEKS? Good lord this will be the longest pregnancy in history.

Ok...heading home for lunch and do the old switcheroo of the car with WHN. She gets it in the afternoons. And no, we havent heard from Panda yet...but they did ask her if she can get a work permit. Me thinks they are just sloooow like the City!

                            Hello, hello......

I took a day off today!!! I called in and didn't give a reason. Unheard of for me. Anyway, today is the 1st anniversary of my Dad passing. I have been so sad, etc. But, I am good today. I was so blessed with such wonderful parents. My Dad would have done anything in the world for me. And did....so, yes, I'm having a few moments but mostly just happy thoughts and RELAXING.

Liz- I'm confused on the ages of your kids. EB is getting married and your other daughter visited her boyfriend??? I feel like I need to keep a list going so I can keep up. (Dang menopause brain :H)

K9 & Fen - I will call you for my bugs while hubby is gone. I can catch crickets (barely). Spiders are hard to catch and deliver outside. But, anything that can crawl up my leg that I can't catch is a creepy/crawly. I've had lizards, rats, etc. (no snakes though) but, it's the smaller ones that get to me. :H

Ok - Off to pay bills. What a relaxing day off. LMAO

I love you all - thank you for being here with me. I can feel my mojo coming back.

Mama - I am so sorry for you. I hope you are documenting all of this. :l:l
