Satz, do I have this right: it's pouring down outside and Mr Satz has a great big broom in his hands and is sweeping whatever there is to be swept? :bonkers: :bonkers:

You'll have to wait up for me - invited to a braai (what else?). Slightly nervous about it - don't know all the people who will be there, and two of the others are ex-drinking buddies. I know I'll be fine - I've found that a bit of worrying beforehand actually helps me to focus.

                    Yo everybody :waving:

Got me lappie back so can now read back proper :yay:

Big hello and welcome to Roxane :welcome:

Is it only Jacks and I on the sofa then?

You'll be fine Dreamy- as you say a bit of thought beforehand leaves you forearmed (is that a word?) Ye know the drill- eat plenty and always have yer own drink to hand (AF of course)

Have had a few wee drinking thoughts here myself- weather is so atrocious- snow all washed away by copious amounts of rain- home alone and cosy here in house- those thoughts of a bottle of red just crept-in. Alas, I wont be out again if can help it so wont be drinking any red stuff. Funny how the mind can so easily romanticise something that caused so much pain and suffering!

You won't believe this but last night I dreamt of sitting down with a bottle of whiskey to cure my cold! Don't particularly like the stuff (but would've drunk it if its all there was) I had got half the bottle down in my dream and didn't feel at all drunk. I wonder if we'll everbe free of the wretched poison.

Not mad at all Satz- would forget all the bad stuff in no time me! Very easy to romanticise it. That's why I do stick about here- not so easy to forget then.

As it turns out me bro that's getting married landed up from Dubbers- heading out for last night as a singleton with some pals up here. If I had of been drinking he would have landed to find me in a right mess- instead was able to drive him down town Happy out!
