Weatherperson :H promises mostly sunny and comfortable...

Traffic police in the Free State (not yours, ours) have stopped a car driven by a ten-year old - his dad was sitting next to him, having a beer; apparently there was another child, younger than two, in the car. Says Dad: he wanted to drive, so I let him...

Neknominations: it's not just the drinking, but the cyberbullying that goes with it when a nominee refuses. And crazy how quickly it's spread.

Not a particularly cheery way to get the day going - have a good Tuesday nonetheless, Army!

Just stalked you over to the Newbies Nest............Ava's post is just a brilliant one.

In the beginning planning is the key........and lists........(that one worked for me)
Divide the day into sections...............hourly at a time................even minutes if need be.

Plan today out.
Got alcohol in the house............get rid or give it away.

Something nice for dinner..........no............get cooking

Had a bath............no............get going...........big hot and bubbly. Get all them creams and potions out you've never used and slather yerself in them.

Wear something nice...........just cos it's Tuesday........go on treat yourself.

Got a slab of chocolate, nice big glossy magazine, no-brainer DVD.............go get them.

And repeat.

ive got a series to watch this afternoon on iplayer. can watch it on my new telly.

afternoons are my problem.

will walk dog this am then snuggle down on the sofa with him (yes i allow dogs on sofas!)

Anyway I always thought it was dogs that allowed humans on the settee..........you should see Black Bess' face when I tell her to budge up.
