Satz, gasbag is actual quite shy and not particularly talkative - I simply cannot do small talk; wine absolutely was my social lubricant. Strangely, I now often draw on that false self-confidence in a social situation - sort of fake it till you feel it.

Oh should mention it was the luvverly daughter that did all those things.............I was just a fretting mammy.

Not sure if it was guts...........it was the last day of my home de-tox and I was taking a tiny bit of valium.

Back from Wales. Headwind just too much and got blown over at 3 miles! Cuts and bruises but nothing broken.

Anon, were you close to a medical tent when this happened? Or rather - did you get help with disinfecting cuts and whatever else was necessary? Hope you're not too stiff and sore tomorrow.

(Perhaps you should start thinking about taking up a safer sport - crocodile wrestling, or something?)

Thanks dreamy--- I picked myself up came back to liverpool and did 12 miles. So will be stiff tomorrow. I am so making up for lost time

I didn't get a nanna nap because of my new addiction............the Winter Olympics. I have Snow Slided, Cross Country skied, not a lot of spred skating, a bit of a peep at the cross country skiing with a rifle on yer back, bit of ice dancing..........pairs and singles..............and just ski jumped the last half hour...ooooh goody Mr JC has turned over so I can see the highlights.....
