Morning all, man that cake looks sweet, congrats Rox.
What a storm that was eh, got stuff uprooted in the garden boo hoo. Power out at work only to find power out at home when I arrived. Fair play to the esb had a crew out in the field and power was restored in less than 2 hours.

Hallo Mario and Tab and Roxy who got mooned last night!

Just peeled half a tree's worth of figs - they're ripening faster than I can eat them, so I peel and freeze them - jam-making will be later, when I can make a big batch.

Last cholesterol test today, mine was down some more; last organised walk was yesterday, but a group of us will continue. I'm a bit undecided about that - I like wandering up and down the streets, thinking my own thinks, but a group walk is a good incentive to get out of bed. They're putting on a picnic at the dam for us tomorrow - sounds like fun.
