    Army thread 21 February

    Cough, cough...

Must just be a cold because I'm blooming starving.....egg & chips for lunch.

Ooh do you know I might just buy some new knickers for Dubbers....and a bra.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

latherin heart girls --- headed to kit hen fully intent on egg and chips --- ended up (remembered I'd bought some this morn) with lambs liver and crispy bacon and crispy spuds in an onion gravy --- omg - it was beautiful --- none of my lads will eat liver so to me it's a SERIOUS treat ---- would rarely bother making a 'dinner' just for me --- belly is distended and if the accountant doesn't hurry up after lunch he may find me (or not!!!) snoring!
OMG !! Liver is my favourite FOOD too !!!
Did you just fry in butter Molls ?

Jackie0-You can get Zicam if you ask your pharmacist for it. Here in the states, it's OTC, but not displayed on the shelf with all the other cold meds. I have asked my pharmacist for it and I've never been turned down. If you can't get it....I will send you some. hugs, Rusty

Love liver, especially a very regional dish: cubed liver, fried with onion, then cooked in a gravy made with flour, vinegar, water. Eaten on fresh wholewheat bread, with butter - food for the gods. (I know, it doesn't sound very appetising, but oh goodness, it takes me back to childhood.)

Not really grumpy, Molly, more a pity party that was going on then - what else that I enjoy doing do you want me to give up? Over it now.

I understand Joey's worries - years ago, when I also wanted to quit smoking, I realised that I would have to stop drinking as well for a while. Managed to give up the booze, not the fags... And then started up with the booze again.

Movie night tonight - curious to see what's going to be dished up (movie-wise and food-wise).

Southeaster has been blowing since early morning - weather bureau said it'll prolly blow for another 10 days. I'll be a raving lunatic by then!!!!!!

                        Anyway, laters!
14 October 2013 was the first day of the best days of my life!

Windsday indeed, Dreamy. It drives me nuts too.

Glad that it's Friday, but still very much beset by blahness. Off to do something. Just not sure what.
                          I'll do whatever it takes

Sorry to hear that Tips - it's awful when you don't know where life is taking you.

If you're not sure what to do, I've plenty of ironing:H:H:H:H. Being "out in nature" is a good way for me of clearing my head - could you not pack the family in the car and go to Jonkershoek or someplace? Hugs to you.
