sweetpea29;1631685 wrote: Ah the poor pet:l 12 times a night is not funny. No expert at all but with age we seem to experience more difficulties with 'down' there- urgency, frequency, infections etc... Then old folk are afraid to drink plenty of fluid thinking it will make them 'run' more when it in fact makes things worse. It's no joke. Know this is no comfort to her now but at least they are investigating and not fobbing her off saying it's all down to age.

Bummer on the cold Jacks- that's one thing makes me miserable:l Just you take it easy m'dear xx
Satz- Iz far from being an expert, would she be good taking in the fluid? Less ye drink, more concentrated and therefore irritant the urine- so they say.
Feck, not wishing to cause to offence to anyone, but I really don't wanna live into old age. Don't get me wrong- there are plenty of older folk fitter, healthier and happier than I- fair dues to them, but I just don't wanna go there meself

I remember thinking 30 was decrepit.
I know what you mean though.....My Gran's positively ancient and to be honest I think she's had enough.
For me with my aches n pains and 'forgetfulness' at 35, I dread to think what will be like in years to come. Have visions of meself being a demented, mad 'ol cow with not a one to look after me- roaming about the corridors of some nursing home barking out orders and doing the nurses' heads-in!
