I had my doctor appt yesterday and next Friday, on my birthday, I start treatment for Hepatitis C. The nurse at the dr's office will teach me how to give myself shots next Friday. I will most likely get pretty sick from the shots, they said fever, chills, nausea, no appetite, among other things. The symptoms last up to 48 hours after the shot. I'm doing shots Friday nights so I hopefully don't miss too much work.

Of course I cannot drink at all once I start treatment. I guess maybe it is a blessing in disguise. Hope everyone is doing well and I'll keep in touch.

Kathy tx is for 6 months, If the virus is gone by 4 weeks I may only have to do 3 months. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Marcie, From readin your posts and your letter to mother in law and just other things you seem to me like a very strong person. Inside and out. (building a shed?) Anyway, I know any kind of treatment has gotta be hard. But I can see that you got it in ya sister, with its hard and difficult times, you're gonna come out of it real cool....healthy and stronger then you even are now. I hope it goes fast for you and ya know everyone is here for you as we sure know you would be for any of us too. :h :h :h gabby
