    Army thread FRIDAY 28 February

roxane;1632521 wrote: Tips, did I read that you commute 2 1/2 hours?. I hope that's not each way.....

Dream, you've quoted it now so I can't quietly delete it, clever sod.
It was one way this morning, Roxy. One of the freeways into the city was closed due to protest action, which meant everyone diverted onto the one we use. It's normally just over 2 hours return.

Dreamy can be a bit of a fox, eh?
    I'll do whatever it takes

I'm gathering everything together to help myself, or at least trying to (cop out excuse planted).
Hey, Roxy. Where have you been?? Sorry to be such a tattletale but I'm gonna tell Available where you are... :H

Is it already Saturday where you are? If not, why not just take the plunge and start then? What is so special about Sunday? I don't think stopping needs all the thinking and planning -- staying stopped does.

Anyway, good to see you :l.

Which is why I did it, dahlink!:l:l But I am glad you've set a date.

What are you planning to braai this weekend? We have some crayfish tails that I'm thinking of making tomorrow. Legal ones, mind you.
Of course you'll be ok, maybe just more chrome-domed. Just remind me of the time and address? Should I dress up for the crayfish or is it a come as you are thing? bought some lamb chops for tonight but (and I'm almost ashamed to admit it) was in no mood to light a fire and braai. Giada very happy with her human tonight - supper was droewors and biltong. She's a funny feline - doesn't much like raw meat, but boy, things turn nasty chez Dreamy when the good stuff comes out.

I'll take that as a compliment, thanks.

Can't believe somebody was brave enough to kick Molly out of Aftercare.

            Arghhhh you're all doing it!!

Ffs, I quietly tried to sneak it in unnoticed. Should have thought it through.

Sunday because I'm having to psych myself up to it. I've been telling myself for over a week 'tomorrow tomorrow, I can't white knuckle it, no point.

Don't tell on me NS, I'll tell her. I don't want to get my arse kicked.

Tips, 2 hours return is not too bad, each way not so much. Doesn't sound like the main problem.......

I don't have revels, but I have Jaffa cakes peanuts bacon and elderflower cordial. Forgot fizzy water to go with it but I can get that tomorrow.
