    MARCH ON UNDIES.

    Morning All.
Just a quick fly through here.
Having one of those inexplicably weird, off-kilter type mornings

Off to get the head straight before I head out to tackle the world.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Speaking of organic. You know the greenhouse grown tomatoes some supermarkets like Coles sell, does it follow that these tomatoes are not sprayed with pesticides, so no need to wash them? Thanks.
Unless they are certified organic Mr G, I would assume otherwise.

So I was working most of the weekend Undies, good to see the home fires kept alight with all the goings on, vet visits, footy games etc etc

I think I might be a little PMT so beware people. This morning I've teared up about Daniel, Reggie's dolphin video, the thought of the new kitten, the shit food & wine festival & the fact that my mates are drooling over a pollie - that one made me howl actually. The bottom lip is all a quiver & there's only one thing for it....off to see James & use up some of this excess cortisone in ma brain.
I'll be back later in a better mood....
I think we've got the same disease today Cakes. The weird shakeys etc.
Hope we both feel better my friend!!!

That was a v. strange one.

Kinda. I yelled at littlest monkey today...I feel like the worst Mummy EVER. It was a full moon last night which would explain some of it.
I'm making a yummy dinner tonight to try to make up for my terrible parenting today - marinated roast chicken drumsticks, roast spuds & salad.
                    Off to read some....

One thing I realised with mine Cakes is that we can't be a robot mother. The sooner the kids realise that we have off days too, the better. And even the really little ones understand if you explain to them retrospectively that you were a bit cross today, didn't mean to shout, weren't feeling very well. I found that mine preferred that to no explanation at all.
Anyway, you're a super savvy girl and a great Mum. And tomorrow is another day. Thank F.

Oh sweetie - I work for the child safety dept, trust me - you are NOT a bad mother in any way. I hope that didn't make you cry!

Tomorrow's another day my lovelies, I hope it's a better one for you both.

                          MARCH ON UNDIES.

I love all our imperfect and yet still perfect Undie Mums, because they are real.

That goes for dads and pet owners too.

I remember being yelled at as a kid - some of them hurt me; some of them were deserved. We are all human and make mistakes. Angel, if you felt like you did something wrong, apologize to the littlest monkey, and like Bridge says, tell him/her that you lost your cool. But don't beat yourself up for not being perfect.

Happy, it suddenly struck me today that I need to think about visas and money for Bali. After a quick search on Mrs Google it looks like I can get a visa at the airport when I arrive. And looks like taking cash is the best option for good exchange rates?? What did you do when you were there? I just dont have the time to get to the bank this week to organise a multi-currency debit card.

Speaking of which, I have revised my plan about not taking electronic devices with me to Bali. I love being read to and Mr B has put heaps of audio books on my i-pod. 4 work days to go

Speaking of Mr B, he is in the middle of downloading digital versions of the more obscure albums that we have in storage. Tonight he found a digital version of my 1973 album by Barbara Vane album entitled "I hate the Capitalist System". It strikes me that we weren't very subtle in the 1970s. :H:H

Evening all! Cakes, lovey, don't sweat it. You're a good mum and the monkey knows it. If I had a dollar for every time I've snapped at mine....I'd go to

BALI!! Missy - yep, visa is on entry, cant remember exactly about $25US and there is a departure visa too, about $15? you might want to look on tripadvisor.

We used our Australian Visa debit pretty much all of the time. There were a few charges when we got back that I hadn't accounted for but overall it seemed the safest way to travel. We had some cash too that we changed, do not use the airport money changers, they are too expensive.

I'll pm you a couple of links that might help too. So exciting that you're finally going.

                                Oops, dinner...back in a tick...
