Bridge - she just suggested that if I need to gain pounds carbs is the way to go. And if I eat mainly carbs for a couple of days, more than likely my appetite will kick in.

Greetings all undies from the tranquility of my spa and retreat centre! Actually it is more of a spa than a retreat centre and so far this week I have had a Balinese massage, a hot stone massage , a facial , a body scrub and a reflexology massage. There are acouple of yappy women who I want to tell to shut up and respect other peoples need for peace and quiet but thankfully I am in a little villa away from the rest with one other woman who is also a bit yappy when she is awake but spends a lot of the day sleeping! Done a couple of early morning yoga classes and think I'm going to try to find a regular one when I get back as it definitely helps my back!! The place I'm staying is in a semi- rural area but about 1/2 hour away from Seminyak. I'm going to Ubud tomorrow to go to the temple there and also the monkey forest. And yes, Happs a visit to the yoga barn:-)
I hadn't realised but it is festival season here!! The day I arrived it was the festival for cars,trucks and motorcycles and all vehicles were highly festooned. The day after I leave is Nyepi - google it!! It is totally amazing and fascinating!! The whole country closes down, no planes are allowed to land or take off, and no one is allowed out on the streets!
I'm trying to use this time for peace and quiet so trying not to use my phone too much! Have taken lots of photos but don't know how to post them to MWO without photobucket. Will do it when I get home. Mwah to you all!!Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn
