Back among the speaking and internet connected world. Have to say, silence is truly golden. I now find myself thinking before I speak "is what I have to say better than silence?" often it is not.

Sober March- Who's in??
Hi all,
Just a quick post to clarify, I am almost finished with four intensive weeks of yoga training, which included several days of silence. Will write more about my experiences after I have had a chance to integrate them into my being. One and half more days and then it is homeward bound for me. More later,Free at Last

Sober March- Who's in??
Just wanted to stop in and say Hello! All is good here. Had a bit of drama with the house sale- it fell through but I stayed strong. Put in another offer and am really hopeful this one will work! Happy first day of SPRING!!! Makes me excited!
Hope you all are doing well! Enjoying this sober life I must say!
Day 79 for me! YAY!:earth: Tree23

Sober March- Who's in??
OK, Peeps--
Where is everyone!
Made it through a LOT of drinking events this weekend, including an extended ooooh and aaaah session over a bottle of red, and a very cold beer on a very warm deck. All flashes of - hmmm - followed very quickly by NO! I am happy to be sober and not drinking. I am happy that those flashes are shorter and shorter, and farther and farther apart.
I'm still doing yoga - I have turned down offers of after work drinks three times in favor of a class. Feels so great to be doing something good for me both physically and mentally instead of doing something bad for me both physically and mentally.
Hope you are all ok!
