One Step at a Time - March 2014
Ok..here's the deal
Bri daughter, Elli, is a HORROR. She has tantrums at school, throws things, lies, disobeys and poor Bri cannot get her under control. Beatings, nothing works. She is hard headed and defiant just like her mom. I have tried to offer suggestions, but Bri always caves on punishment cause Elli is such a brat and wears her down. SHe evens has to mert with the school counselor weekly.
Last week, Bri found 20 dollars in Elli's pocket and Elli proceeded to come up with some BS lie.
I suggested we recruit our property policman that lives on site to come scare the shit out of her.
And that kids do not like to be embarassed.
Today, when Elli got off the school bus, Office Mike took her to the side, in front of all the kids on the bus, and put HANDCUFFS on her and put her in the back of his squad car. His got his brother to tell her he was with DCF and that someone had called and reported her theft. She started squaling and crying. Officer Mike proceeded to tell her that he was going to check on her every day, and if she did not do homework, or clean her room or disobey in any way, that he would have to take her away from her mother.
I felt really bad for her, but she was terrified. I hope it worked. I felt bad about possibly traumatizing an 8 year old, but something drastic needed to be done.
She was crying and blubbering and it was all I could do not to cry, but I think we made an impression. Bri, for the moment anyway, seemed very impressed with my evilness.
We shall see.....I hope ya'll don't think bad of me....I love my family more than alcohol.:h

Wonderful weekend with hubby's side of the family! They live about two hours away and it was so good to see them all. A nice quiet day at work today. My lips blew up after dinner! What's up with that? Feeling better now. A little Benadryl and boy am I ready for bed. Good night all.

I am glad Bri's kid cried...that means she's not a sociopath! I hope she learned a lesson. Does anyone know where the money came from?
